Amazing what a little enforced slow down can do - if you let it. My gratitude is with frontline workers who have risked their lives to deal with life and death issues, and it behooves the rest of us for whom life, as usual, has been slowed or suspended, to honour their service by making positive use of this necessary call for healing in the world.
We need to reflect, recalibrate, and respond to the myriad issues and deeper stories that COVID 19 has forced into our awareness – to come to terms with the fragility and preciousness of life, the inequities that undermine our common humanity, and to heal our disconnection from ourselves, from one another and from the Earth itself. The pandemic is teaching us just how interconnected we are, and how our common needs are interwoven. We are all in this together.
If ever there was a time for conscious awakening – this is it. We need to change ourselves and the world; to begin living as though all life mattered. To do this we need skills and tools for self-awareness. We are waking up together and now is the time to bring forward your unique contribution to our collective evolution.
