Books for Children filled with Wisdom
As we enter our next phase of uncertainty and social isolation due to the Coronavirus, it is a good time to remember our blessings as well as our challenges. It seems appropriate for me to express my gratitude for a long and rewarding career – nearly forty years, of teaching the skills of social and emotional intelligence. The best way for me to express my gratitude is by acknowledging the many gifts of wisdom I have received along the way and to honor my first and most important teachers on this subject – my children and grandchildren.
To acknowledge these gifts I am producing a series of children’s books on the lessons I have learned from these illumined beings. The first in the series is called Brave Changes and is dedicated to my daughter Nico who has always shone with a brilliant heart. This book reveals how the gift of empathy can help you overcome the fear of change. A timely message straight from the heart of my daughter.
May we all greet uncertainty with an open heart and bravely reach out to others to face change together.
I am continuing to teach my online classes called Embracing Your Deeper Story, stay tuned for next offerings.

Amazing what a little enforced slow down can do - if you let it. My gratitude is with frontline workers who have risked their lives to deal with life and death issues, and it behooves the rest of us for whom life, as usual, has been slowed or suspended, to honour their service by making positive use of this necessary call for healing in the world.
We need to reflect, recalibrate, and respond to the myriad issues and deeper stories that COVID 19 has forced into our awareness – to come to terms with the fragility and preciousness of life, the inequities that undermine our common humanity, and to heal our disconnection from ourselves, from one another and from the Earth itself. The pandemic is teaching us just how interconnected we are, and how our common needs are interwoven. We are all in this together. If ever there was a time for conscious awakening – this is it. We need to change ourselves and the world; to begin living as though all life mattered. To do this we need skills and tools for self-awareness. We are waking up together and now is the time to bring forward your unique contribution to our collective evolution.
